Circle of 7 -10 men building trust, exploring emotional intimacy,
supporting one another in living a vibrant life as queer men. Meeting weekly from 6:30 to 9:00 pm on Tuesdays. Open and close with a brief centering ritual. We will create a format that fits us, a safe and sane... circle to hold for each other whatever issues we want to address in our lives. MASCULINITY & VULNERABILITY OF MEN: The Core of Male Happiness?

It seems evident that two major issues that every man faces, not only as a boy, but as an adult sooner or later, are "masculinity" and "vulnerability".  The workshop I am offering addresses both as core issues to a happy life for gay/bi/queer men.  To create our own form of masculinity that suits our personality and not the stereotypes of 'alpha man' or "GI Joe", and to identify how to live vulnerably, that is emotionally literate and free, will be the focal point of this workshop.

Using breathwork, touch, written exercises, dialogue we will explore these two crucial elements of our identity as men.  We will create with one another a safe and sane, non-judgmental, space to dialogue and be with one another to share our experiences, personal journeys, and hopes.  We will conclude with a ritual of affirmation.

DATES:  October 2nd, Saturday, 1 - 6 pm
LOCATION:  Oakland, California
FEE: $50 No one turned away due to financial constraints.

Circle of Elders gathering to explore their sexuality mindfully, the wisdom they have attained, the desires they hold, the self-discovery yet to be attained.  Not for the faint of heart, but for those who are seriously engaging life on life's terms.  Through breathwork, touch, shared discussion we will create safe ritual to explore ourselves and who we are today.
